At Slipstream, we use Clickup as a task tracker for our development tracker, so we're no stranger to combining process management with task tracking. At the same time, our development process is strongly enforced with continuous integration/deployment and infrastructure-as-code in our codebase with industry-standard best practices. With such strong process support, our development process already has the support that it needs, and so Slipstream's process support isn't as required, and instead our challenge is organizing and prioritizing all the possible future features that we could work on.
For most other processes, this isn't the case, and you'll want Slipstream's process support. Because of this, we use Slipstream for almost everything else in our company that aren't one-off tasks so that we can do them the same way every time. Reimbursement requests, employee onboarding, yearly evaluations, meeting strategies, company giving, you name it.
Most likely, your business will find good value from Slipstream unless there are already industry-standard ecosystems that can serve your needs exactly. For instance, if main business process involves sales, it might not be worth moving your sales processes off of Salesforce. However Slipstream can still augment your processes in and around Salesforce! We've made it easy to integrate external systems and services into Slipstream.
If all you desire is task tracking, it is fine to continue using your existing task tracking solutions with Slipstream if you're happy with them. Slipstream provides basic reporting and task tracking in the application already, so if you're looking for simple visibility then it's not necessary to use additional external services.
